Boja Fauss – Arneis

Arneis is a grape variety native to Piedmont in northern Italy. The direct translation of Boja Fauss from Piedmontese is False Executioner but is used as an exclamation akin to Godamnit! A remark likely used many times when cultivating Arneis, which translates from Piedmontese as Little Rascal.

This wine is 100% Arneis grown in Clevedon, Auckland.

The wine is clean, crisp, pure and refreshing with a lovely mineral texture.

Great wine. Smoky sea breeze and salted Margarita on the nose. Really comes together on the palate with a lovely texture and great freshness. Nutty, rounded, great acid. Cohesive.

4 Stars – Michael Cooper

Pale lemon/green, it is a fresh, lively, medium-bodied wine, with very good depth of peachy, lemony, slightly spicy flavours and a dry, persistent finish. Enjoyable young
