A turn against traditional Sauvignon Blanc. This wine displays luscious stone fruit aromas and ripe gooseberry. 5% barrel ferment (25% wild yeast) and thorough lees stirring has crafted a complex, rich palate balanced with nuances of passionfruit. It has a fine natural acidity which gives this wine elegance and class, indicative of sharp vine management in our Waihopai Valley vineyard. This wine has been carefully cellared for 18 months to allow full maturity.
