This wine was berrytastic – strawberries, raspberries, all the berries you could ask for – with a savoury finish. Totally gluggabble, this is a light, super-enjoyable red wine.
3.5 stars – Michael Cooper
Floral and fresh, the 2019 vintage is an unusual blend of Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris and Pinot Blanc, grown in Marlborough and Gisborne, and handle without oak. Bright pink/pale red, it is light and lively, with fruity, berryish flavours, in a highly enjoyable, smooth, drink-young style with a Beaujolais-like charm.
